App Annie is a business intelligence company and analyst firm, co-headquartered in Beijing, China and San Francisco, USA. It is the industry leader in app ranking, app store analytics and market intelligence - tracking over 4.2 million mobile applications with over 600,000 apps connected to its analytics platform. As part of a small biz ops team at App Annie, I was responsible for a variety of items at the company. This included setting up the Hong Kong offices, managing visa applications, handling corporate legal documents and conducting business and operational metric analysis.

Greenheart Group is a growth focused investment and integrated forest products company listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HK:00094). Greenheart owns renewable softwood plantations in New Zealand and certified hardwood concessions and other interests in Suriname, South America. As an Associate in the Corporate Development and Investor Relations team at Greenheart Group, I experienced a significant amount of changes and events; from company rebranding, asset acquisitions, investor tours to short seller attacks, share price suspensions and corporate restructuring.

Regarded as a leading investment institution, J.P. Morgan Asset Management has a network of 777 investment professionals with a strong market presence in Asia, Europe and the US. In my time at J.P. Morgan, I rotated in a number of roles including data management, corporate actions and FX & money market dealing. I was chosen to facilitate and lead the Business Process Improvement (BPI) project in 2010, working with colleagues in the Taiwan office to streamline workflow efficiency.

Imperial Dragon Asset Management, IDAM, is an investment advisor authorised and regulated by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. IDAM advises the IDAM China Multi-Strategy Fund, one of a top performing China and Hong Kong focused investment funds which has a record of delivering superior absolute returns for its shareholders. This two month internship gave me great exposure to the functions of a buy-side firm. Responsibilities included data mining, daily meeting presentations, equities research and a lot of filing.
