•Assist in executing the Internal Audit work plan, including pre-audit preparation, fieldwork and reporting •Support in evaluating the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls and governance systems •Analyze financial and operational data reports and documentation to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements •Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and report on progress •Support in conducting ad-hoc investigations and special reviews as required •Prepare clear and concise audit working papers, documentation and draft reports for review •Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on audit practices, standards and sector rules •Support external auditors and act as intermediary between them and the Group Companies •Keep up to date with emerging risks and ensure the Group is aware of and has prepared for these •Assist Business Process Owners (BPO) in conducting risk assessments to identify, assess and prioritize organizational risks •Ensure the risk registers are updated and maintained continuously but at a minimum every quarter to reflect current risk exposure •Help monitor the implementation of risk mitigation strategies, compliance to risk appetite & tolerance limits and report progress •Prepare risk reports and dashboards for Management and relevant Board Committees •Ensure the Group's risk management process comply with applicable laws, regulations and group policies •Participate in risk awareness initiatives to promote a strong risk management culture across the Group •Participate in development and updating of policies and procedures for risk management •Support responses and reports to regulatory authorities
