* Built a micro-level model to explain the choice behavior of the risk neutral bidders when there are two simultaneous auctions, one with common value and one with private value.
* Ran Monte Carlo simulations with many bidders to measure the value of the two auctions simultaneously according to a bivariate normal distribution.
* Compared the price posting mechanism with perfect price discrimination with the auction mechanism and found that the two mechanisms generate similar revenues.

* Projects: I) Regression Analysis of Impact of Toy Recalls on Exports from China
* Designed a difference-in-difference regression model to find the average treatment effect of a product recall event in 2007 on the export levels from China to the US and other affected countries.
* Applied panel data analysis with fixed effects to detrended data to observe the real impact on the export values of the recalled products.
* Identified a reduction in the export levels of the products recalled due to lead paint from China to the affected countries over and above the direct impact of the recall event. II) Liquidity Shocks and Equity Prices
* Calibrated a stochastic growth model to evaluate the hypothesis that liquidity shocks cause business cycles numerically.
* Implemented linear programming using parameters from the US data to solve the model.
* Recommended a growth model that accommodates the investment quality drop in the analysis.
