I am a father to three amazing boys, husband to an incredibly patient soulmate*, a snow/wind/gravity junkie, and author of the Majoto Design System. The Majoto Design System is a step-by-step journey for creating clarity and building executable actions for legal and non-legal problems. It’s inspired by design thinking, built on proven analytical frameworks, and refined through 5 years of use in the field. I use it in my legal design work, and to help clients improve processes, craft strategies and improve how they operate. It is a trunk with several branches: 🏋️ Combined with relationship system coaching, it's a unique "workout" system that Manu Kanwar and I use at LexSolutions to help clients build and execute legal ops roadmaps. 🤖 It's used in the contract design work we do for customers, and in the Majoto platform, which is a doc auto system for designed/visual contracts. 🧪 It's a practical and learnable design thinking system that we teach to legal teams, in the form of the exciting new DesignLab concept. My background: lawyer, obsessive creative, legal hacker. 20 years as a lawyer in law firms and Global250 companies in London and Milan. As a lawyer, I specialise in tech, open innovation and intellectual property. As a consultant, I do legal design, process improvement and legal ops. As an entrepreneur, I'm the founder of Majoto, a document design and automation company. I combine legal, creative and tech skills with the unique attributes of a good in-house lawyer: outcome-focussed, owning the problem, challenging convention and asking the right questions.
