* Responsible for: * Working with the Origins Education Forum Director to provide leadership, management and direction for Forum activities. * Employing resources to meet the work requirements of the Origins Education Forum. * Assisting in the development and evaluation of work packages, system requirements, schedules and budgets; supporting development of resource allocation plans. * Working with the Origins Education Forum Director to establish staff performance standards. * Projects included: * Management of Space Science Education Resource Directory website * Led development of Origins Education Forum website * Developed Origins-themed NASA professional development workshops for members of the Girl Scouts of the USA, National Science Teachers Association, and NASA Explorer Schools * Led development and dissemination of “The Electromagnetic Spectrum” poster through journals of the NSTA, AAPT, and International Planetarium Society * Co-authored Origins Education Forum Strategic Plan

* Responsibilities included: * Researching and synthesizing scientific and technical information for incorporation in education and public outreach efforts generated by the NASA Origins program. * Developing presentations and written materials for use in education and public outreach activities. * Representing STScI and the Origins Education Forum at local, regional, and national conferences and meetings for classroom educators. * Ensuring the scientific accuracy of information published on the Origins Web site and of Origins materials that are entered into the Space Science Education Resource Directory. * Working with the Formal Education team to evaluate the scientific content of materials submitted to the Origins Education Forum as part of its formative evaluation service; compiling formative evaluation reports. * Participating in the development of formal education products, workshops, and presentations with the Amazing Space team.
