- Developed PU foam box-test formulations (normal, QDF, HR, FR, filter, rebonded) to achieve stable density and hardness targets at production scale, reducing formulation iteration cycles. - Conducted physical and mechanical testing per ASTM D3574 to validate foam quality and guide reformulation decisions. - Resolved recurring coating defects — settling, foaming, mold growth, and adhesion failure — through structured root cause analysis (RCA), resulting in more stable production outcomes. - Developed two waterproofing product lines (acrylic-based and bitumen-based), conducting full performance benchmarking against commercial competitors and preparing formulations for production trials. - Led expandable graphite performance comparison across 3 brands (temperature tested up to 971°C/2 hrs), identifying the optimal material for intumescent fire-resistant coating on rockwool substrates. - Developed quick-dry floating foam (QDF) prototype for marine safety applications, validated at ±80 kg load in seawater at lab scale. - Initiated rebonded foam process optimization — multi-point density mapping, adhesive distribution evaluation, and pressure trials — improving structural homogeneity and reducing air void rejection. - Built internal R&D systems: project scheduling tools, machine time estimation sheets, knowledge training manuals, and lab inventory management — improving team workflow efficiency.
