As of 12/23/16, I am retired. For the past 10 years, I have been consulting with human services technology and operations for government agencies with a focus on Child Support modernization. The early part of my career involved 30 years in Illinois state government in information technology management positions - most recently as the CIO for the Illinois Child Support and Medicaid agency. My experience includes working with Medicaid, TANF, Food Stamps, WIC, Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, Substance Abuse, Child Support, Child Care, Energy Assistance and related human services programs. Deneen has extensive experience with Child Support and Medicaid, including serving as the Chief Information Officer for the Illinois Medicaid / Child Support agency, the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), prior to leaving public service in 2005. Her consulting experience includes project management engagements for the IV&V project for the Medicaid Information Technology System for the State of Ohio and the Integrated Eligiblity System planning effort for the State of Illinois.
