In Bentham, I work with a team of Optical Physicists and Test Engineers to build optical systems such as LED light sources, monochromators and photo detectors. Using Autodesk Inventor, I design accurate fixturing within the machines. With a BE degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Limerick, I joined Boston Scientific as a process development engineer in 2023. In this role, I design, develop, and validate medical devices that improve patients' lives, using my communication, creative problem solving, and organization skills. Prior to that, I worked as a research and development engineer at the same company for two years, where I contributed to the development of test methods, device updates, and device test reports, using statistical analysis software. I am passionate about innovation, quality, and collaboration in the field of biomedical engineering, and I aspire to expand my knowledge in the areas of statistical market analysis and manufacturing.
