Worked on a paper on strengthening economic ties between India and Sri Lanka. Analyzed time series trade data to assess the potential of trade and investment between India and Sri Lanka by calculating indices such as revealed comparative advantage, trade complementarity, intra-industry trade

* Worked as a main team member on India KLEMS Productivity Project (This project was a part of the World KLEMS initiative based at Harvard University) * Created time-series data 1980-2007 on value-added at current and constant price levels for 31 industries constituting the Indian economy by addressing statistical challenges * Drafted 3 funding proposals in employment period and obtained ~US $400,000 funds for 3 years from Reserve Bank of India * Coordinated conferences and workshops with senior economists and data experts working on World KLEMS across the globe * Headed regional desk group on Sri Lanka

* Feasibility Study on India- EU Trade and Investment Agreement * Analyzed past trends and patterns in trade and bilateral investments between India and EU * and explored the opportunities and prospects for enhacing trade and investment in each other’s markets using statistical tools

Project coordinator and core researcher for the study "Sub regional Cooperation between India, Myanmar and Bangladesh"​ funded by the Department for International Development (DFID), India This project largely involves undertaking primary and secondary research targeted at gathering inputs of various aspects of sub regional integration, including trade, investment, and connectivity for drawing policy suggestions. Facilitated inter-country collaborations with research institutes in Bangladesh and Myanmar and managed all aspects of project activities including budget management, stakeholders consultations and workshops; conducted field surveys at land border-crossings and held interviews with stakeholders Collected and analyzed both quantitative and qualitative data to identify barriers in trade facilitation and transport connectivity in the sub-region Worked on a study on "India’s rising trade deficit with China" primarily focusing on the factors which are widening the trade gap and the options available for India to close the gap.
