* Responsible for the entire suspension and steering system design and fabrication of a formula style car. * Design of double wishbone suspension system layout of a formula style car using optimization of roll center geometry approach. * Design and analysis of various suspension components such as uprights, wheel hubs and spindles using SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS workbench. * Design and manufacture of springs and custom made dampers by estimating the weights at each wheel. * Design and manufacture of custom made rack and pinion assembly for a quick ratio action of 10:1 as opposed to 18:1 used on production vehicles, by using a rack-and-pinion with high C/R ratio. * Exposure to Manufacturing processes such CNC machining of 6061Al billets for uprights, heat treatment, waterjet cutting of 4340 steel plates for manufacture of hubs and spindles. * Final assembly of all components on the formula car for testing and validation. One of the drivers for testing and in the final event SUPRA SAE INDIA 2012.
