I love many parts about the arts, like drawing, painting, fashion, home decor (modern & antiques), classic cars, jewelry, music, cultural arts, and just learning about new things that bring life to the arts everyday. It's exciting to me in how the elements and principles of design work in many different styles of art. I hope to pass along my passion to my art students, and that they may see and grow in their passions as well.

The Art Scholar Program (Youth At Risk) is an outreach program for selected junior high and high school art students who are falling beneath the cracks, are economically disadvantaged, and in need of a direction to help them make a difference in their lives.The purpose of this program is to give these deserving students the opportunity to learn to work like an artist and how to display their works of art in a professional art gallery. After creating art for two hour class sessions that lasts for 11 weeks, their work is presented for patrons to view in a grand artist reception at the Mistlin Gallery.
