As a Sales Associate at Babel Fair, I was the key holder and the store manager during my shifts. Monitoring the store operations as well as catering to customer needs were part of my responsibilities working there. As I was working alone during work hours, I had to keep track of online orders and send them out in a timely manner. Daily tasks also included logging the sales records, keeping the owner up to date on all occurrences, and restocking merchandise.

As a Fashion Design Intern, I was able to assist the Designers in day-to-day responsibilities. Some of the duties included organizing fabrics, trend and silhouette research, sourcing trims for samples, tracing patterns, and doing drop-offs and pick-ups. I was also able to create some accessories, as well as sketch and create technical flats for designs

At Walter Baker studios, I assisted the head designer in sourcing fabrics and going to appointments. I was responsible for trend research, constructing the inspiration boards, as well as the skew boards. Arranging and attending fabric appointments, as well as organization of samples were part of my daily tasks.

I am in charge of inputing orders and liaising with client account list, as well as following up on requests and sending new seasonal collections. Reviewing collections in concept to cater to specific target markets, going to market shows and expanding the customer database, cold-calling and keeping in contact with vendors are my responsibilities that have allowed the company to run smoothly and efficiently.

During this internship, I participated in managing the fashion closet for SELF Magazine. Picking up garments and dropping them off for rentals, as well as packaging merchandise to be returned were some of my responsibilities in the fashion closet. I worked closely with the Accessories & Garment Managers, and was able to assist them with organizing and communicating with fifty-plus different companies for rentals to be used for publication, and photoshoots.

During my internship at Hyde Park School of Dance, I have designed costumes for a performance and was able to sew/construct them as well. Making head pieces, sewing and doing alterations are some of my responsibilities. I assist the Costume Designer with organization, performance preparations, as well as sewing costumes.
