Scientist II @ Terremoto Biosciences

About

With scientific curiosity to investigate biological problems and passion to help people with unmet needs, I earned my PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology in hopes that I can help make significant advances in the development of therapeutic agents. My thesis work was on the cellular and molecular mechanism of memory formation and I had the opportunity to do an industry collaborative project during my studies. I then pivoted to drug discovery work in a dynamic startup environment to help with multiple goals such as DC nomination and IND study reports. I am a versatile research scientist who is quick to learn new skills, eager to tackle any scientific challenge, and happy to help out teammates. Soft skills: + Communication + Flexibility + Attention to detail + Mentoring + Time management Technical skills: + Mammalian cell culture + Transfection + Immunocytochemistry + Microscopy imaging + Western blotting + Immunoprecipitation + ELISA + Flow cytometry + MSD Outside of scientific research, I enjoy playing tennis, gardening, drawing, and knitting.
