Leading a team of 9 to successfully support and recruit into our 64 Care Homes across Scotland and Wales. Covering all Ancillary, Care, Clinical and Management roles. Completing daily reports and giving extra focus on areas of need. Working directly with Area Directors and Managing Directors to give the best support to the teams within the Homes. Supporting with vacancy applications and interviews where required

After successfully completing my probation and showing my willing to progress within the company, I was given the opportunity to become a Nurse Recruiter. Four months in to this role, I have then moved across to the Management Recruiter team. My daily tasks involve, completing pre-screens, arranging interviews between the Home Manager and the candidates/agencies, direct sourcing candidates, dealing with agencies, advertising all vacancies. I am also required to deal with all social media postings for the Care Homes in which I work for - i.e, Facebook/LinkedIn etc.

Starting my employment with HC One as a Resourcing Administrator for the Nurse recruitment. I was expected to advertise all new roles internally and externally. I would sift new applications to make sure they matched the criteria of the role applied for, before submitting the to advisors for them to contact directly. After three months in this post, I was then asked to become the sole administrator for the Management team. Along with the normal tasks I would complete for the Nurse Recruitment, I would also book telephone pre-screen interviews for the advisors. I would deal directly with the agencies to organise contact with candidates and would then speak with higher management to arrange face to face interview.

G4S Secure Solutions is proud to be the official provider of security and cash services solutions to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. G4S will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing the 10,000 strong security workforce that will be tasked with securing the Games as part of a larger workforce of 23,700 managed by G4S. The Games are expected to attract over 12,000 athletes and in excess of 10 million spectators to the Olympic and Paralympic venues located throughout the UK, during a two week period commencing 27 July 2012. Working in London to help secure CTC/SC clearances for all members of staff who were due to work on the Olympic site. I was based here for 6months to help complete this operation. Returning back to the North East after this 6months, I was then asked to Governance the screening of files tto check that all screening matched the required standards. Rensponsible for ensuring deployment numbers are achieved and maintained. Produce reports to Regional Managers to ensure we meet our KPI figures.
