I have financial services background. I have three initiatives that I want to venture into. My first passion is a party place for children 18 months to 12 years old. I want to create this beautiful themed entertainment center with a jungle gym for fun, but learning will be the main source of my business. I want to hire artist who can teach them arts and crafts, environmental learning and music, dancing and acting. I want a concession for eating right foods and drinks. There are soooo many ideas out there that our children are missing out on. I want to give it to them, but I need help. This would be a great investment because in my area, there is nothing like it. My future goal is to make this a major "other learning opportunities" because only 2% of the schools in our state offer drama and entertainment. I live in Alabama. Alabama is an open market for various other industries. I have some investment ideas for Alabama and I need your help.

I was the assistant to the Executive Director of Facility Management. My responsibilities included managing current and future project. When the UA Board approves a project (new building, etc.), I created the Request for Proposal legal notice for the newspaper, collected all RFPs, scheduled architect interviews, sent rejection and award letters, schedule meeting with the architect, and created a project timeline report. Another great responsibility was creating Board Packages for the University of Alabama System Board Meeting (which request funding for new building or renovations to existing buildings); created a great deal of PowerPoint presentations; kept the calendar for the Executive Director; scheduled mediations and conferences with catering; created spreadsheets for timeline of all projects and followed it weekly to help keep track of completion, etc.
