As PSP Investments’ president and CEO, I am responsible for leading one of Canada’s largest pension investors on its important mission: to help the Government of Canada support the retirement of people who protect and serve Canada. With C$299.7 billion of net assets as of March 31, 2025, PSP Investments manages a diversified global portfolio composed of investments in private equity, real estate, infrastructure, natural resources, private credit, and capital markets. Together, we are committed to fulfilling our mandate: To manage amounts that are transferred to us by the Government of Canada in the best interests of the contributors and beneficiaries under the acts related to the public sector pension plans of the federal public service, the Canadian Forces (including the Reserve Force), and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and to invest our assets with a view to achieving a maximum rate of return, without undue risk of loss, having regard to the funding, policies and requirements of the Plans and the ability of the Plans to meet their financial obligations.
