During the course of my life I have been fortunate to have had training in so many areas, some of which are listed below. To sum up my capabilities, I would say that I learn quickly at most things that require creativity and dexterity. I don't back down from challenges. I choose to find a way to make it work. I don't say "I can't" or 'it can't be done" unless I have first tried to work a solution. This work ethic and mind set has allowed me to accomplish many tasks and talents and will continue to do so until I am no longer here.

This was my baby. A consignment/antique store that I created and built to a success. Loved this business!! Only reason I left was due to our major relocation from Eastern Canada to Western Canada. Sold the business in 3 weeks. Awesome learning experience and tons of hard work!! Extremely re-warding.

Hand painted murals for interior purposes in private homes and businesses. This business began with me doing some personal murals at home and then friends wanted them and so on. During the last 10 years it was commission based where enough of my work was 'out there', I was being seen and recognized for my work. It is still a passion, but limiting due to the time required on ladders and scaffolding.

Baking and decorating 'Special Occasion' cakes and 'Wedding Cakes'. This business went really well and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The need for a larger facility was becoming evident and at the time I didn't want to pursue that route. I opted for a career change and full time Mom instead.

Assisting the owner of the RV and Cottage Recreational Park with organizing the office area, creating a operations manual, scheduling staff, sales and customer service. It was also required of me to manage the park in the owners absence. At these times it was required of me to handle all park emergencies with the physical operations of the park itself ie: septic, electrical, plumbing, telephone and wireless and/ or with the health and welfare of the tenants ie: noise disturbances, altercations and health trauma.

Dental receptionist -required dealing with patients, booking appointments, accounts payable and receivable and supplies. During this time I was asked to supplement as an assistant. At this time the Dentist recognized my abilities and placed me in a full time assistant position. I also did work in his lab creating dental props, mouth guards and plaster molds.
