My passion for photography is rooted in my interest in seeing the environment and my surroundings in unique and creative ways. I enjoy honing my photographic skills to turn my passion into something that I and others can enjoy. I strive to create photographs that reveal my subject in the most genuinely artistic way possible, and music and travel have been my muse. My 30-year professional career as an urban planner with specialized experience in seaport systems has also afforded me a perspective that incorporates compassion for the human spirit and the ability (sometimes) to discover order in chaos.
