* Assist regular education teachers and support students with autism in content area and mixed media classes in the general education setting. * Responsible for data collection and monitoring students’ progress towards IEP goals. * Plan and implement social skills lessons which focus on issues facing middle school students with Autism. * Communicate with parents regarding their children’s academic and social needs and progress. * Reinforce and remediate academic and social skills which have been taught to AS students. * Administer curriculum based assessments in order to gather information needed to write IEP for autistic support students on caseload. * Collaborate with members of students’ IEP teams in order to implement individualized education programs.
