Debasish Dhar, Ex-IPS

A former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from the West Bengal cadre, I have dedicated my career to public service, governance and nation-building. With extensive experience in law enforcement, policy implementation, and community engagement, I have worked to promote transparency, good governance and public trust in institutions.Following my tenure in the IPS, I continue to serve society as an Member Legislative Assembly from 151 AC, Sonarpur Uttar, & Spokesperson for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), West Bengal. In this role, I contribute to policy discussions, public communication and organizational strategy to advance the vision of a strong, self-reliant and prosperous India.My work bridges administrative experience and political leadership focusing on governance reform, citizen safety, and effective communication between the state and the people.
