I began my recruitment journey 22 years ago, spanning three countries: Canada, Australia and the UK. I spent 20 years with Hays Specialist Recruitment, where I progressed to Senior Vice President and Board Member for Hays Canada. I led national operations for 150 consultants across 6 offices, including: Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver. This covered the construction & property, accounting & finance, human resources, sales & marketing, legal, mining and office professionals divisions for both permanent and temporary recruitment.In 2023, I launched Zeal People Group, a talent management and advisory firm focused on strategy, operations, and organizational growth. I provide fractional advisory and consulting, predominantly to recruitment and staffing firms, helping founders and leadership teams navigate strategy, people, performance, and operational challenges without the need for a full-time VP, COO, or Operations leader. Having spent over two decades in the industry through periods of growth, change, and market cycles, I’m passionate about improving operational efficiency, challenging outdated processes, and partnering with leaders to solve day-to-day business challenges.
