Sutherland Global Services is a global BPO services company. During this period I had overall responsible for all HR activities across the EMEA region, which was undergoing a period of considerable growth. This included expansion into a number of European countries, and North Africa/Middle East and responsibility for the full range of HR activity required for country start up, leading and managing employee acquisition and TUPE/transfers.

Provided HR support to several MD’s through a number of significant organisational changes and developing HR agenda to support business priorities - Led a number of COLT wide projects including, employee engagement, development of competency framework, performance management, management training. - Employee relations activity included introduction of UK Consultative Cmtte, Union negotiations and TUPE activity

* Initially supported UK/Ire only but then expanded to include France, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Morocco, and India * Responsible for all TUPE consultation/negotiations with clients/employees/unions during acquisition of 6 sites from a large client. * Development of a professional HR function including recruitment of new HR Managers, providing a supportive environments between them and sharing of best practice and skills * Worked alongside Senior Management to develop an HR strategy to meet significant change in organisation and culture * Led HR activities for the set up of new sites in Spain and Morocco

* Joined as part of team to set up European activities for a US organisation * Set up employment entities in UK, Netherlands & Germany * Developed Contracts of employment, HR policies, Benefits etc * Recruitment activity in all countries

* Led a team of 25 HR Professionals responsible for all aspects of HR, including HR support to BT outsourcing contracts. * HR lead for 12 outsourcing deals won by BT, TUPE’d numerous people into BT, * Development of People Strategy for BT Syncordia Solutions * Resourcing, Development and Training key due to scarcity of skills in a number of key areas

Joined BT as a graduate and worked up the organisation in a number of roles across various business streams

Interim and consultancy assignments. Assignments include providing HR Consultancy to an organisation within the BPO industry, and also for not for profit organisation.
