Within the oil and gas industry, I have accumulated 10 years’ experience in which I can count 6 years as Drilling Solutions Engineer. A role that I’ve loved doing and given maximum effort on optimizing drilling operations through technical analysis, technical report writing, problem-solving, collaboration & communication, and post-drilling analysis, within the sub-Saharan Africa region since 2014. From there I have proven myself and assumed a role of Operations Engineer for the Congo district where I have developed strategies to enhance sales while reducing costs and optimizing resource usage. Also, I have ensured timely delivery of services and materials, provided technical expertise to teams and clients, and presented findings & recommendations to management for strategic decision-making. And since quarter 2, 2024 I have embarked on a new journey as a Technical Sales Representative for the CEMAC area in NOV, and within that role I do conduct product demonstrations, develop tailored technical and commercial proposals, and close sales by aligning product value with client needs. And this is followed up with me ensuring product support, gathering market insights while maintaining strong client relationships. And this with a close collaboration of NOV internal teams. As a technical sales representative in NOV, my success lies in my ability to blend technical knowledge with relationship-building and sales acumen to drive revenue while meeting customer needs.
