Lab duties involved running detailed analysis of ice core samples. Preparing individual samples for isotopic analysis. Performing statistical analysis on data using a variety of software packages (Excel, SigmaPlot, Minitab and SPSS). Visual formating results using graphic software packages (Adobe Photoshop and Correl Draw). Also, participated in a field research program (July to September 2003) in the Peruvian Andes. Our field team successful recovered over 500 meters of ice cores from two high elevation summits in excess of 6000m over the course of six weeks.
