Developed VSTO add-in for MS Word and Excel called ALEXANDRIA integrated with SharePoint, significantly improving analytical capabilities in a competitive financial market. Worked on various complex systems for collaborative report generation using SharePoint, C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, WPF, and MongoDB, focusing on efficiency, stability and scalability. Collaborated in an Agile environment with global teams, enhancing project delivery and system architecture. Implemented best practices in unit testing (NUnit, XUnit), source control (GIT), and CI/CD (Bamboo, Jenkins). Participated in technical explorations and proof-of-concepts to innovate and improve software solutions.

As the Lead Developer at Linklaters, I leveraged my technical skills in C#.NET, Azure technologies, WPF, VSTO, Azure DevOps, and SQL Server to modernise our Template Management Solution. The transition from a VBA to a VSTO add-in significantly enhanced the management and creation of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint templates. Leading a team of 6 developers, I ensured the successful completion of projects within strict deadlines. Key accomplishments include upgrading all internally developed Microsoft Office Templates to an Office 64-bit environment and managing the system transition from Tikit TMS v5 to a customised solution for Linklaters. Acting as the liaison with third-party vendors, I ensured the effective integration of their applications with our Office add-ins. Utilising Azure DevOps, I facilitated a seamless deployment process to Azure Storage, resulting in increased productivity and efficiency. Did a major exploration work on taking the new solution to a cross platform environment using Office.JS which resulted in an Options Paper with my recommendations purely based on an extensive proof of concept on what is feasible in Office.JS. My technical expertise in Microsoft Office Application development has made me a trusted resource for firms aiming to optimise their office productivity tools.
