David Day

David is a health tech founder based in San Francisco, building AI to rescue healthcare teams from administrative overload, so they can focus on patients, not paperwork. He is the co-founder of LunaBill, an AI company automating insurance-related phone calls for medical practices. LunaBill’s voice agent navigates payer phone menu systems, extracts real-time claim data, and handles denials and appeals, reducing delays and lost revenue. In its first two months, LunaBill processed over 62,000 payer calls representing $25 million in insurance claims, recovering $1.2 million in payouts and saving practices more than 21,000 hours and $450,000 in staffing costs. Previously, David founded Skiesoft, which launched the first trilingual (Mandarin/Taiwanese/English) speech-recognition AI for Taiwan’s healthcare, finance, retail, and education sectors.
