With 35+ years’ executive experience across plc and private equity‑backed organisations, and a proven track record in turnarounds, transformation, strategy pivots, and M&A transactions.

In November 2024, I was elected as the Convener of the Court at the University of Strathclyde, a role which I formally took on from August 1st, 2025. The Convener of Court is a Non-Executive role with the primary responsibility to Chair and lead the University Court, this is the highest level governance board of the University. The Court consists of non-executive appointees, executive team members and appointed/elected representatives from the University's workforce, student body as well as local Government representatives.

In June 24 I joined the Nuclear Restoration Services Ltd as a Non-Executive Director. The business is one of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority's operating companies and is responsible for the full decommissioning of the UK civil nuclear generation facilities. Following the completion in March 2024 of the fifth divestment since the creation of Vysus Group in November 2020, I stepped down as CEO and transitioned to the role of Non-Executive Director, working closely with the owners, Inspirit Capital, and the management to support the continued growth and development of Vysus Group as a focused technical and regulatory consultancy business working across the global energy, infrastructure and grid markets.

Vysus Group is a leading global engineering, technical and regulatory consultancy business providing specialist expertise across energy assets (oil and gas, nuclear, renewables), energy transition solutions and complex industrial process and grid infrastructure. I led the carve-out and sale from Lloyd's Register to London-based Inspirit Capital to create Vysus Group in November 2020. With a global footprint, the business has a decades-long history of providing innovative, value-creating solutions to our global customer base. Since the establishment of Vysus Group in 2020, we have completed five sales of non-strategic services lines to PE, trade and private buyers.

In August 24, I took on the role of Interim Executive Chair for a Private Equity backed, UK Power System OEM. The business has operated for 20+ years, delivering electrical power optimisation, Battery Energy Storage Systems and Micro Grid solutions across a global customer base.

Joined the EIC board in December 2021 as Non-Executive Director, supporting the ongoing development and growth of the EIC under the leadership Stuart Broadley (CEO) and the global EIC team.

Responsible for the global Lloyd's Register Energy business supporting clients with a broad range of consulting and engineering services across the Oil & Gas, Renewables, Nuclear & Power value chains and complex industrial infrastructure. Completed strategic review and executed on business transformation in first three months of joining LR to delivering a major performance turn-around.

Responsible for Aker Solutions businesses across the UK, mainland Europe and Africa covering the full suite of Akersolutions Engineering, Operations & Maintenance, Subsea equipment & life cycle services and Integrity/Operations software. Role based at regional head office in Chiswick, London.
