A passionate educator at heart with over 20 years of experience, David has worked across all areas in the field. Having started his career as a teacher, followed by a senior leader, a headteacher, and later working with groups of schools as an Education Director and Regional CEO, he brings a deep understanding, and authenticity to his work. Recently appointed as Group CEO of Cognita, David leads this extraordinary community - helping a vibrant network of schools to focus their energy on what matters most – the students, and build a culture where people feel trusted, supported, and proud of the difference they make. Cognita is a global family of schools united by a single purpose: to help young people thrive in a rapidly evolving world. With more than 90 schools across Europe, the US, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia, Cognita educates over 100,000 students in 20 countries and employs more than 22,000 dedicated teachers and support colleagues across five regions.
