I am a final year medical student at Deakin University. I have a keen passion for General Surgery, and am actively pursuing this career path. To this end, I am currently undertaking academic surgical research with the Department of Surgery in Geelong, further developing skills obtained in academic science. My previous experience as a Paramedic has given me added skills in patient communication and empathy, in addition to providing a solid foundation of clinical skills.
