Resin for Men.

Briefly, I founded Resin Ventures in 2015 with two co-founders, with original incorporation in Texas, USA. Resin Ventures was born from a pain point in the market that I had identified through my own experience as an artist that were shared across the art communities. Resins are chemical reagents that may be used in art as a medium itself, an enhancement of the underlying art, or as a protective coating. The market pain point was that the resin products available were often volatile and not safe for human exposures, would require specialized equipment and infrastructure for safe use, and ultimately produced a poor outcome with yellowing when exposed to UV light over time. To address this market opportunity, I sought out, tested, and identified intellectual property governing a resin technology that solved our pain points, licensed the technology, and created a first product line called ArtResin. Resin Ventures expanded the product offerings through primary and secondary market research beyond art to include industrial applications and the craft and woodworking industries. To address market demand, we also developed a private label brand for clients to create their own branded products with our technologies. The result of 10 years of building was a company with 30 employees, operating out of North America, with global distribution channels to over 20 countries, and 15 million USD in annual revenues. In 2024, I exited Resin Ventures to focus on supporting entrepreneurs with my skill set, network, and financial resources.
