States rarely get to see their critical-infrastructure systems, stakeholders, and narratives modeled together as one dynamic system. That’s the gap I work in. I’m the founder of the Tomkulak Consortium, a geostrategic modeling effort that has involved 327 volunteers on projects across 30+ countries. Our focus: • Comprehensive system-of-systems mapping for critical infrastructure (energy, ports, logistics, food systems, communications, etc.) • Perception-management and narrative modeling around those systems • Design of sovereign, long-term development pathways that are resilient to center-of-gravity attacks on leadership, information, or infrastructure Earlier this year, work by the Consortium led to extended conversations with Western security and intelligence officials, including specialists in critical infrastructure. Those discussions reinforced how unusual — and valuable — our cross-border, volunteer-driven modeling work is. I’ve led or supported projects across the Arctic, Asia, Europe, Africa, and Antarctica with a particular focus on small states, territories, and strategically important regions that are often overlooked in traditional planning.
