Participated in major M&A effort led by Domenic De Lorenzo and Norman Adami to reorient SABMiller towards a closer strategic partnership with The Coca-Cola Company. This resulted in the formation of the largest Coca-Cola bottler in Africa - "Coca-Cola Beverages Africa" with $2.9billion in sales (40% of Coca-Cola's Africa volume) and majority ownership by SABMiller. This new anchor bottler in Africa has the potential to be a major growth driver for both companies and positions SABMiller to lead the consolidation of other African bottler operations. My work on the project was focused on profit sharing agreements with Coca-Cola and the requirements for effective system partnership for market development and profitable growth.
