About

I am a solicitor with an interest in law from both a practical and academic perspective. My primary legal interests lie in law reform, public law, and human rights. I currently work at the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority within the Ministry of Justice. I also tutor the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow having previously tutored two Public Law and Human Rights undergraduate courses at the University of Edinburgh whilst volunteering at the University’s Free Legal Advice Centre. Previously, I worked as a Law Reform Officer at the Law Society of Scotland and as a litigation solicitor at DWF LLP (formerly Biggart Baillie LLP) where I was instructed on a wide range of commercial and public law disputes. Outside of work, I like to run (slowly), play squash (poorly) and follow the Scottish football team (miserably).
