Firth Rixson is a parts manufacturer of aerospace jet engines, power generation and defense applications. Its products include nickel, titanium and aluminum critical rotating forged rings and cases. Alcoa purchased Firth Rixson Inc. in 2014. Held Technical/Quality Engineering roles during annual facility rotations throughout the US with leadership focus Quality Lead responsible for product conformity of a major machine in-sourcing project. Over 90+ CNC machines were procured/relocated creating the largest single location west coast aerospace machine centers in the US Led a three month quality special assignment in the UK coordinating a facility response of 20 Nonconformance’s towards a British Standard Institute - BSI Quality Management System Audit, preventing suspension of certificate Assisted operations of off-site suppliers, emphasizing on continuous improvement and customer compliance

* Represented the NYSDOT as the Inspector in Charge on a $1.1 million bridge rehabilitation * Collaborated directly with the contractor and affiliated union workers to ensure safety and * conformity of the plans within the Standard Specifications outlined by the NYSDOT  * nbsp
