Head of Finance @ Sefton New Directions Limited

About

Sefton New Directions Limited, is a leading provider of adult social care services within the borough of Sefton, whose aim is to provide the highest quality of care and support for adults of all ages who have learning or physical disabilities, have mental health support needs and older people. Our organisation, a wholly owned entity of Sefton MBC, is all about people. We promote independent living, encouraging and supporting individuals to fulfil their aspirations. Prior to Sefton New Directions I worked as a Finance Business Partner with Brothers of Charity Services, a provider of care services to adults in Lancashire and Merseyside and until 2020 as Financial Controller at Hobs Reprographics, the largest independent print and services company in the UK. A leader in technology and a Royal Warrant holder with over 20 branches and 300 staff. Before Hobs I spent over 6 years with Liverpool Vision a non-government publicly funded organisation managing a range of multi-million pound grants and projects on behalf of partner organisations. Before joining Liverpool Vision I worked in both Sefton & Knowsley MBC's where I gained valuable experience and gained my Management Accountant qualification (ACMA). A former Chartered Banker with thirteen years management experience in The Royal Bank of Scotland, I decided on a career change initially joining and improving the small Credit Control department of a £50m annual turnover chemicals company.
