I am a paleontologist and science educator, whose professional goals include opportunities in classroom and field science education. In addition to research and field work, I am interested in opportunities involving public science outreach and education. Specialties: Formal and informal science education, specializing in ecology, biology, anatomy, paleontology and geology. Statistical techniques including single and multivariate methods, ordination, and scripting in the R platform. Macro and micro fossil vertebrate field collection and preparation.

Running the Paleontology Research Team, a highschool program for students interested in the facets of paleontology, geology, and biology. Responsibilities included: - Construction of 3 weeks of classroom and field curriculum for highschool students. - Communication with private and public land-holders for permission to access land for field work. - Coordinating field work with the National Park Service, allowing students to work with professional paleontologists on current, active field collection sites. - Supervision of comprehensive projects performed by students in the form of 10+ page literature review papers concerning material covered during the camp. I also instructed Wilderness Survival and Junior Field Naturalist camps, and assisted in lesson planning for other programs involving geology or paleontology.
