Cooperative Research Centre for Developing Northern Australia (CRCNA) is a Cooperative Research Centre funded with $78m to grow Northern Australia. - Stepped in as Acting Chief Executive Officer to address senior management issues and, by early 2024, restored stability by restructuring the leadership team.

Board engagements: - Supported industry-led research collaborations to enable the sustainable economic growth of Northern Australia; - Oversaw the transformation of the organisation in terms of senior management replacement – governance improvement.

Kimberley Meat Company was a wholly owned subsidiary of Yeeda Pastoral company, which owned significant pastoral operations in the far north of WA. KMC was the only Processing plant North of Perth and west of Darwin in Australia’s north. - Steered the sale of a Yeeda Pastoral spin-off to a proposed co-operative funded by a government loan. - Although the co-operative did not proceed due to limited producer investment, I guided the plant to achieve $1.3 million net profit in its first six months before concluding my consultancy.

Pastoral Lands Board, SA is the statutory committee responsible to the SA government for administration and Governance of Pastoral land act. Board engagements: - Appointed by the Minister for Agriculture, South Australia; - Steered the board in reforming the Act, delivering a game-changing outcome for South Australian pastoralists. Resigned as no longer involved in pastoralism in SA; - Led the development of a new draft Pastoral Land act.

Hancock Agriculture portfolio was the world’s largest private landholding with 11.8 million hectares and 370,000 cattle, making it the second-largest beef producer and exporter in Australia; - Responsible for S. Kidman & Co. and the 2GR Wagyu Beef portfolios; - At 2GR, I established one of the world’s largest Wagyu herds, comprising 32,000 cattle, and developed a paddock-to-plate business with multiple product tiers to meet global demand. - I expanded the customer base from one to over fifty, lifted turnover from $1.6m to $50m with $12m profit in four years, and tripled herd value from $30m to $105m. 2GR was awarded the Australian Exporter of the Year in 2022; - At S. Kidman & Co., I transformed the cattle business into a value-added beef enterprise, producing branded products for both domestic and international markets. - I increased net profit fivefold in four years, lifted exports from zero to nearly half of profit, and maintained herd volumes during the worst drought on record. Thomas Foods and Atron Enterprises merged in 2016. Board engagements: - Reported to the Chairman of the Board of TFI; - My focus in the first year included raising the profitability of beef processing, and representing TFI in market access, government and industry negotiations, as well as integration of Atron with TFI, livestock procurement optimisation, production planning and plant efficiencies, and mentoring the TFI team.
