About
As CEO and cofounder of CrowdProperty Australia I’m launching a specialist marketplace lending platform bringing together SME residential property developers with wholesale investors to offer better returns on a proven technology platform. As a Fintech business we can boast about a real end to end loan management system that offers the efficiency that few financial services firms can match, it keeps our costs low (and our investor returns high). However, it is our team's specialist experience in residential property development, and most importantly, their passion for it which means we will help every borrower to deliver their property project, and at the same time ensure reliable returns for our investors. Instinctively entrepreneurial - I have launched a range of ventures from establishing competitive business units within a large health service with $50+M turnover to co-founding disruptive PropTech start ups including leading a successful exit and merger into a traditional Real Estate corporation. Since completing a MBA I have been motivated to solve problems and work for purpose driven organisations. In Australia housing affordability is at an all time low and sustainable housing measures are still in their infancy. There are pains on both sides of the CrowdProperty market place that have been neglected by the banks and private lenders. Lending to SMEs almost dried up in the pandemic which was just when Australians needed to be rebuilding following the fires. I’m excited to working with an international team to help Australia #buildbackbetter. Outside of work I continue to challenge myself, I’m often found leading crews around the harbour or in offshore events like the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. A passion for windsurfing, mountain biking and the outdoors has led to other adventures like running the New York marathon.
