I founded Coanda Systems Limited to provide quality consulting services to clients. My main client was a major mobile telecommunications company located in England. Whilst with that client I developed a system to allow customer service representatives to quickly get customer data from a series of Oracle databases. Additionally I developed several prototype systems to demonstrate how technology could enable the company to better serve its customers.

Whilst with Spherion I provided consultancy services to three clients. The first was a container shipping company located in San Francisco where I was responsible for implementing the PeopleSoft Accounts Receivable package. At Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield in Rochester, NY I was an Oracle DBA responsible for bringing the Oracle databases into a standard configuration. I was responsible for standardizing database procedures and cross training employees in how to use Oracle. At Xerox I was the data architect on a sales system to help the sales force sell one of Xerox's new printers.

At Bausch + Lomb I have been responsible for administering over 150 Oracle and 30 SQL Server databases. I have designed and implemented a custom database monitoring tool to monitor a global network of Oracle databases on both UNIX and Windows. I designed a system to allow SQL to be executed based upon the running of PeopleSoft batch jobs. This allows each job to run in a custom environment that allows the job to perform optimally. This system has also been instrumental in allowing DBAs to automatically get full traces of batch jobs when they run. I have also been responsible for automating many of the day to day tasks that were previously done manually.

At Lucid I have been responsible for developing software to allow remotely located dermatologists and pathologists to collaborate by sharing medical data including macroscopic and microscopic images of skin lesions. This software conforms to the DICOM standard and ensures that patient data is encrypted and transmitted securely over the internet in compliance with HIPAA regulations. In addition to allowing virtual teams of doctors to collaborate the software also incorporates features that allow Lucid to remotely administer the custom hardware and software located in doctor s offices from our corporate headquarters in Rochester, NY. I have also been responsible for administering the corporate data center which uses MS SQL Server and MS Windows Server
