Oversee and direct all aspects of daily workforce in the extraction of dimension stone Granite blocks. Work closely with sales and upper management to ensure supply and cost targets are met according to budget. Provide accurate and reliable estimates for budget planning and development projects to insure a sustainable supply of blocks to internal and external customers.

With limited direction from the Quarry Manager this role is responsible for supervising a team of maintenance shop employees and directing workflow to ensure the safety and productivity of the Quarry Division vehicles, equipment and tools. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling, daily front line supervision of shop personnel, parts ordering and vendor control.

Diagnose, repair, recondition, overhaul of wide variety of Caterpillar brand equipment. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Troubleshoot, test, repair of complex electrical and hydraulic circuits. Provide diagnosis and repair options of engine, transmission, hydraulic systems directly to customer. Order replacement parts, coordinate and execute large scale repairs to meet customer requirements.

Involved in all aspects of shop operation and field work with customers; supervisor in shop responsible for manufacture of sawmill machinery requiring highly precise machine tolerances; installation and service of new and used sawmill equipment. Fabricate and machine parts from blueprints. Construct AC electrical control circuits following schematics. Participated in implementation of PLC controls into equipment operation.
