Deploy and configure the Microsoft Purview account, including networking, security, and access controls. Design and implement Custom Metadata Models to capture organization-specific information about data assets using MS Purview. Visually design and document complex data lineage flows and governance policies, implementing them within the MS Purview Data Map. Act as a bridge between high-level business goals and technical execution, translating academic and operational needs into effective technical solutions. Work as a key member of analytics team as a technical authority on MS Purview and Tableau for development of data governance reporting.

Analyzed logistics data from different source systems in both structured and unstructured formats, cleaning, transforming, enhancing and joining the data to create a data warehouse that feeds analytics solutions in the central logistics branch. Used Tableau data platform to analyze population and elementary schools’ data, and presented data-driven insights that enabled stakeholders to make informed decisions relating to operations of public elementary schools within the province. Snowflake cloud platform administrator and data steward on implementation of data fabric project using IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog to harvest metadata from different data sources. Carried out industry research using data from Statistics Canada and third-party data vendors, needed to identify industry trends and answering questions based on business and technical requirements, applying descriptive statistics and forecasting methods to generate advisory reports for Treasury department. Provided regular financial reports in MS Excel on project status and progress against established action plan metrics.

Managed growth of data, optimized data consuming systems for better performance, and provided feedback to management on project execution and reporting to support continuous improvement. Used AWS Quicksight to develop comprehensive self-service dashboard that runs as a Software as a Service (SaaS) for frontline staff of a hospitality business, with the ability to perform root cause analysis. Worked with large dataset from various sources and able to use MS Excel, Tableau, AWS Data Brew and Power BI to profile data for anomalies and inconsistencies. Also, to identify key business insights to tell a story through commentary and presentations to Senior Management to make informed decision. Extract, clean and transform data making them ready for data modeling, data visualization and machine learning processes using tools such as SAS, Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack( SSMS, SSIS,Power BI) Python, SQL, Tableau, Snowflakes and AWS cloud tools (Glue, Athena, Quicksight, S3, Redshift).

Built comprehensive self-service dashboard for a global brand hotel, used by frontline staff and their superiors to enable them better understand their performance with ability to perform root cause analysis. Built ad-hoc analysis report using AWS Quicksight for client’s program managers, based on different use cases. Providing access as a SaaS using serverless infrastructure. Provided information governance advisory services to clients in Banking, Oil & Gas and Aviation sectors, with guidelines for enforcement and periodic review. Set up secure, durable and scalable data lake and data warehouse for ETL operations with object level controls and data stored in standard-based open format with unified governance. Transformed raw business data by creating real-time dashboards to analyze and communicate key metrics, KPI’s that provided actionable insights to clients’ sales team.
