A born radio personality -- my parents actually granted me the initials "DJ" -- have been on-air in one context or another since a pre-teen. A lifetime of commercial and non-commercial radio experience. Currently, on-air host for a national jazz radio service. Have been on the Broadcast Faculty at Point Park since the 1980s -- teaching (coaching) students in R-TV Announcing, Radio Production, Broadcast Writing, Radio/Records history, Broadcast History, etc. Supervise WPPJ Radio, the student-operated award-winning campus radio station. Proud to see scores of former students working coast-to-coast in R/TV/Media from the local to network levels. Voting member of NARAS (aka, the Recording Academy) and SAG-AFTRA. Still having fun, too...well, mostly still having fun. There is work to be done, as well.
