I was part of the team which oversaw the set-up of a new Private Terminal & Aircraft Handling operation based at Luton Airport. Reporting to the Financial Director, I helped to develop a bespoke CRM, invoicing system & put in place the accounting systems required for a successful start-up business in a difficult market.

I reported to the Finance Director of Luxup, fashion & lifestyle website & start-up business offering members access to exclusive brands & offers not available on the high street. The company has now ceased trading. In the role I managed the day-to-day finance requirements for 4 offices based in London, St. Helier, Hong Kong & New York including all payment runs and finance queries. I was responsible for all balance sheet & bank reconciliations for the 4 companies & assisted the FC with producing final management accounts for the directors of the 4 companies. Key Achievements: Implementation of supplier ledger management system to track invoices over 4 sites. Implementation of PO system for IT equipment to track purchase. Previously IT equipment was being bought ad-hoc, often through expenses. Establishing relationships with key suppliers & negotiating competitive prices. As a start-up with no trading history this was vital for cash-flow management.

* I reported directly to the Finance Director & Managing Director of a Private Aircraft Charter company with Sales Teams in London, Moscow & Dubai. I managed a team of 3 people, one supplier ledger clerk, one sales ledger clerk and a junior. * Primary duties included: * Producing all monthly financial statements & weekly sales reports. * Producing sales forecasting & historic reports, identifying KPI’s, potential opportunities & threats with a constant view to grow the business. * Along with the MD, setting & reviewing monthly sales targets * Key achievements: * Implementation of new Sales Invoicing system allowing vital data to be recorded more accurately, ensuring quicker production of reports & greater depth of analysis. * Introduction of weekly Sales Reports for the Managing Director & Sales Managers. Prior to my arrival reports were done on an ad hoc basis. * Introduction of monthly commission structure for Sales Executives. Previously commissions were received quarterly, leading to complaints from the team. * Produced Audit files for 3 companies within the group for 2010.

Experienced producing Management Accounts (P&L, Balance Sheets, ETBs), VAT returns, Sales and Purchase analysis and bespoke supporting schedules, all designed to meet the individual clients' specific needs. Currently working with companies in the following sectors: Commercial & Residential letting, Property Development, Residential Care Homes, Construction (CIS),Music and Entertainment, Digital Marketing and Product Development.
