Responsible for site document control activities. Ensuring documentation and processes meet regulatory, ISO and company requirements. Providing direction for creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. Ensuring documentation is complete, accurate and unambiguous. Liaising with production personnel/supervision to ensure Work Instructions accurately reflect working practices and are maintained to reflect changed and/or new production and operating techniques.

Responsible for ensuring consistency and accuracy of training documentation produced by the Competency Assurance Team. Generating the Document Control procedure and implementing the supporting processes necessary for the production and maintenance of procedures and work instructions.

Responsible for site documentation control activities. Ensuring documentation and processes meet regulatory, ISO and company requirements. Providing direction to document control staff and the functions responsible for creating, maintaining and archiving Standard Operating Procedures and Engineering Change Orders. Identifying necessary training requirements and maintaining training records. Delivering Good Documentation Practice (GDP) training to new starters, and refresher training as required, to ensure employee compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Editing a wide range of multi-discipline documentation (Design Guides, Procedures, Instructions, Specifications, SHE, Training Manuals etc.) covering the design, construction, operation and maintenance of process plant (chemical/oil refineries), for both internal and external customers (ConocoPhillips, Huntsman, Ineos, Johnson Matthey, Courtaulds, AstraZeneca, Brunner Mond etc.) to an agreed timescale and budget. Edited/produced documentation covering project and construction management, pressure equipment inspection and maintenance, and internal documentation detailing working practices, management systems and processes necessary to ensure QA and SHE accreditation. Effecting formal Document Control processes and electronic distribution of approved documentation via Lotus Notes databases and the intranet. Proofreading and uploading content to ABB websites (internet and intranet)
