Started as a showroom representative assisting clients with their selection of fabric wall panels, durable wall surfaces (Vitruv) and motorized window shades and related controls (including those from Lutron, Crestron and Somfy). Subsequently worked as a sales associate developing relationships with showroom clients and other new clients; assisted clients with measurements and designs; negotiated pricing for, and closed, projects with both commercial and residential clients. Managed several commercial and residential projects and worked closely with architects and general contractors to oversee the successful installation.

Started as a technician for 1.5 years installing ventilation systems in newly constructed houses. Subsequently promoted to managing the company’s installation services (including by taking orders and dispatching appropriate technicians to ensure an effective and efficient installation process); also handled customer relations by answering phone calls (to address concerns, take orders and establish and maintain relationships), resolving issues and attending client sites to help fix problems with ventilation systems. Represented company at Batibouw (international convention) to solicit customers and make new sales.

* Helped with family business of selling and installing window treatments for residential units. * Performed measurements and installed shades and blinds (including rolled-up blinds, Roman blinds, lined shades, ordinary shades, Japanese panels, etc.) and rails (from Decoline and Luxaflex) at clients’ homes. * Followed up with clients to resolve any issues or concerns.

Installed and fixed various casino machines and arcade games, with a focus on electrical and mechanical aspects of the installations and fixings.

Created detailed drawings of manual and motorized window treatment parts using SketchUp Pro to assist dealers with the installation process. Assisted with business development by performing market research, tracking new projects in the United States using Construction Market Data and finding, or interacting with, dealers in various locations to distribute information (i.e., plans and specs) regarding new projects to incentivize the dealers to bid for such projects using RolleaseAcmeda products.
