During my 6 weeks at Ernst & Young I worked in both the Restructuring and Mergers & Acquisitions sectors within the Corporate Finance Department. Whilst working in Restructuring, I worked with a UK/ Icelandic bank with a multi-billion pound loan book. I witnessed how my seniors were involved with the day-to-day running of the bank, sat in on meetings where finer points were discussed, and studied and prepared work involving some of the smaller loan cases. Whilst in M&A, I worked on mid-market sell-side transactions within BSS (Business Support Services) and in TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications). I worked on a number of buy and sellside transactions and on transaction strategy. I also was my team's project leader for the subsidiary Intern 'Project Transition' which involved working in a team of 8 to produce a document that Ernst & Young could use to promote and market the company.

Management Consultant working on projects across Europe and the MENA region. - Project's include a Middle Eastern strategy engagement in the utilities sector, an operational improvement / procurement transformation project for a Saudi Arabian technology business, and a cost reduction and supply chain review project for a UK telecoms business.

Capital & Debt Advisory, Lead Advisory (September 2013 - present) Structuring and execution of debt funding across the banking and capital markets, including private placements, securitisations, public/retail bonds and leveraged finance transactions. Experience in financial modeling, data analysis, credit ratings advisory, hedging advisory and capital and debt advisory for investment and sub-investment grade companies. Also worked on Oil & Gas M&A, Real Estate Finance and TMT M&A transactions. Exam qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAS) with first time passes throughout.
