I am an MBA graduate and have other graduate degrees in Marketing, eCommerce and Business Analysis. My work experience is in the field of Information System and Information Technology (IS/IT), Aerospace both in the military and civilian sectors, and the Telecommunication and Engineering industries. I have held positions as a project manager, business analyst, and proposals coordinator and have a range of experience in technical communications (i.e. technical manuals, reference guides, online help, training presentations and material, and technical specifications). I have also acquired experience in business writing in the area of business requirements documents and system specifications, estimates, statement of work, project proposals, business proposals, responses for request for proposals and quotations. Since Feb. 2006 I started and have been working on my company called Acosys Consulting Services which is an Aboriginal-owned business that provides professional consulting services in Information Technology, Human Resources and Aboriginal Policy Development. We aim to maintain a 33% Aboriginal human resources component for each project. As a Project Manager working in Germany, I was responsible for the development of an open source ERP system that is used for globally ordering image products produced by one of the German Space Agency’s commercial satellites. Customers are connected via a VPN network and client setup. The ERP system forms the communication backbone for the other subsystems used in the production of images. The ERP gathers and transfers information such as satellite image parameters and customer data for security. Part of the ERP includes invoicing of order products and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). I am also responsible for the management of the ERP vendor, the communication of the project status and the meeting of project milestones set out by the overall program.
