As a Project Manager working in Germany, I was responsible for the development of an open source ERP system that is used for globally ordering image products produced by one of the German Space Agency’s commercial satellites. Customers are connected via a VPN network and client setup. The ERP system forms the communication backbone for the other subsystems used in the production of images. The ERP gathers and transfers information such as satellite image parameters and customer data for security. Part of the ERP includes invoicing of order products and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). I am also responsible for the management of the ERP vendor, the communication of the project status and the meeting of project milestones set out by the overall program.

As a Resource Manager, I had a team of 17 unionized employees who had the function of creating customer bills for Bell Canada’s National Summary Billing, Manual Summary Billing, Toll Free, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Bill 2000 mainframe platforms. As an Incident Manager, I was responsible for assessing, dispatching and tracking system problem incidents recorded by the customer support reps to the programmers. My role was to communicate and escalate issues in a timely resolution. I was also responsible of managing and tracking defects through internal processes. As a Project Manager/Developer I was responsible for developing online help for Amdocs Ensemble ECRM software for Bell Canada’s subsidiaries: Bell Nexus and Bell Mobility. As a Business Analyst I was responsible for developing business requirements, system specifications and testing documents for Bell Canada and its subsidiary’s mainframe systems.

National Inuit and Indian Community Representative Organization (NIICHRO); they contracted my services to develop a marketing research study for a Health Canada project and a white paper for re-evaluation of their services and mission in the Aboriginal community. Avaya Communication (previously Lucent Technologies, Montreal); they contracted my services to develop a market opportunity white paper for telecommunication services in Northern Canada. Tandberg Videoconferencing (a Norwegian company with offices in Virginia, USA); they contracted my services to develop user manuals for their videoconferencing products. Native Access to Engineering Program-NAEP (Concordia University); they contracted my services to write a series of articles and develop a section of their NAEP website.

Responding to Request for Proposals and Request for Information for various airlines (i.e. Air Canada, Atlas, United Airlines, American Airlines etc.), military customer (Singapore Army, Canadian Armed Forces, United States Air Force and Army etc.) and Original Equipment Manufactures (i.e. Boeing, Eurocopter, Honeywell, etc.). Additional responsibilities included the writing, editing, and coordinating of the proposal process (based on ISO procedures) with department managers such as Engineering, Marketing and Contracts. Tracking of opportunities (RFPs and RFIs) and the preparation of weekly and monthly reports (Access database) of proposals activities for functional teams, such as Commercial Services and Marketing Department Responsible for preparing graphic material and standard/custom presentations for the marketing of new business opportunities. I also worked in conjunction with the Graphic and Illustration Departments in the creation of new product brochures.

Responsible creating user manuals, installation manuals, service manuals and project proposals for custom and standard distance education, telemedicine and business application videoconferencing systems. Assigned to support the Sales Department to investigate the Aboriginal videoconference market. Developed white papers and marketing plan for sales group. Responsible for interfacing between Aboriginal customers (Makavik Corporation and Creeco) and the Sales Department. Responsible for writing proposals and project white papers for Aboriginal (Makavik, Cree Health Board, Cree School Board, Creeco etc.) projects in videoconferencing solution in telemedicine, distance education, corporate systems I designed and created training courses for technicians and customers.

Wrote maintenance procedures, operating procedures and troubleshooting procedures for a Fire Protection System that was supplied for the Hibernia Project. Wrote the ISO 9001 Quality Control Procedure and the technical specifications documents for a Video CODEC (DVT45) project that used fibre optic and other high-speed broadcast quality videoconference systems. Wrote manuals for different specialized products for oneywell, Ontario Hydro, Transport Canada and CBC. My duties were to gather information from engineers and incorporate the data into various manuals. Responsible publishing documents, managing revisions, and building an on-line documentation system. Designed and created training courses for technicians and customers.

My duties were to perform 1st, 2nd and 3rd line inspection and maintenance on different Canadian Armed Forces aircraft, CH-136 (Kiowa) and CH-135 (Twin Huey). Responsible for servicing (refuelling, inspection, minor maintenance) different aircraft in transit. My Trade Qualification was TQ 5 Aero engines/Airframe, which is the highest level for my Aircraft Maintenance Trade. Crossed trained between aero engines and Airframe. Aircraft maintenance instructor for the Air Reserve Training School teaching engine, airframe mechanics and maintenance.

My duties were to perform A, B, and C inspections and maintenance on fleet aircraft (Convair 580s, DC-8s, ATR-42s, B-707and Metroliners). Responsible for servicing (line inspection and line maintenance) the aircraft on the flight line.
