Davia Rivka is a certified executive coach, author and public speaker with masters’ degrees in Health Science and Clinical Psychology. She has worked with pioneers, trailblazers and social change agents for the last thirty years, supporting them to make change in their local and global communities. Her first book, Up To Something Big; Stories that Inspire Change, was released in 2012.

Facilitated talking circles at Crossroads High School and Palms Middle School for students aged 12-18. We used story and the wisdom of the circle to resolve conflict, forge deeper understandings of one another and model listening skills.

Citizen's grassroots advocacy organization committed to ending hunger and the worst aspects of poverty. I managed a team and trained volunteers across the country to work their member's of congress, media and forge community alliances.

As a climate change warrior, I work with Citizens' Climate Lobby, promoting the passage of national carbon fee and dividend legislation. In the first ten years this legislation has the capacity to cut CO2 emissions by 33%, add 2.1 million new jobs to the US economy and $70-85 billion to our GDP (source: http://citizensclimatelobby.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/REMI-National-SUMMARY.pdf). We work strategically with congressional offices on both sides of the aisle; to inform, provide resources and support, and to foster across the aisle connections. As a climate change writer, I travel around the country interviewing climate change warriors. Their stories are told on my blog, on the Citizens' Climate Lobby blog and will be published as a collection of stories to inspire others to action.
