With Don Luskin, co-founded the worlds first and only transparent mutual fund company. Launched a revolution in portfolio disclosure which has since become item number one on the SEC agenda. Built the company from concept, through venture funding to an eventual size of 35 employees. Recruited all senior personnel, oversaw the development of investment and content products, including the technology infrastructure behind them. Portfolio manager for the flagship product, OpenFund. MetaMarkets.com developed a cult like following, thanks primarily to the daily commentary of Myself and Luskin. MetaMarkets.com was consistently in the financial headlines (WSJ, NYT, Washington Post, Forbes, Fortune, CNBC, CNN, Money, etc.) and was honored with the a variety of Internet and Finance awards, including being a "top 10 cool companies" according to Fortune in 2000. My role in founding and leading MetaMarkets.com is the subject of a chapter in James Morton’s Investing with the Young Guns from the Financial Times press.

• Chief Strategy Officer, with line responsibilities for the Australian and Japanese mutual fund business after the Barclays acquisition of predecessor, Wells Fargo Nikko Investment Advisors • Key member of new-product initiatives team, including the development and marketing of the World Equity Benchmark Shares ETF series (later rebranded iShares), the LifePath Target Date Mutual Funds and the B2 online banking platform • Managed sales and marketing for 401k platform, including investor education and asset allocation tools

With Kurt Cerulli, started and grew Cerulli Associates into the pre-eminent strategic consulting firm for the marketing and distribution of financial services products. Engaged in all aspects of the business from client acquisition, project management, primary and secondary research, statistical analysis, HR & systems consulting, as well as day to day management and marketing of the firm itself.
