• Acted as the chief engineer of a department that develops systems used to command and control SATCOM resources for both the United States and Australian defense departments, leading and managing all of the aspects associated with the engineering process. • Acted as an engineer that solveed complex issues that impacted the successful completion of satellite command and control ground systems that monitor satellites, allocate resources, and provide networked SATCOM equipment across the globe. • As a SATCOM expert, provided recommendations and direction related to systems developed by the Secure Network Operations division within Northrop Grumman that affect both MILSATCOM and COMSATCOM resources. • Advised senior engineers throughout all phases of a project, including requirement gathering, requirement analysis, use case preparation, user interface design, test case development and execution, and installation. • Conducted studies that impacted decision making at the highest levels of both the United States and Australian defense departments. • Mentored new engineers on best practices for all phases of the systems engineering process, which include requirement development, design, system development, testing, and installation.

• Served as an expert staff action officer creating recommendations that affect the development of new systems and components of existing systems, including procedures and methods that affect worldwide satellite operations centers. • Responsible for the development, preparation, and coordination of Department of Defense (DOD) Wideband SATCOM and related information systems, including WGS and DSCS satellites and the satellite segment of the Global Broadcast Service. • Acted as a user representative during development and testing of multiple system used for Wideband Military SATCOM (MILSATCOM) command and control. • Developed definitive technical solutions that consider operational configurations, user requirements, system performance, systems architecture, interoperability, interfaces, protocols, networking, expansion potential, and overall end-to-end compatibility. • Provided satellite operational procedures, on-orbit support, on-station operations, and engineering support for both WGS and DSCS satellite constellations. • Designed and developed policies dictating method to allocate Wideband and Commercial SATCOM resources for operational support. • Designed and developed space operations policies impacting international partners using Wideband MILSATCOM resources.
